why we should stop consuming farm-bred fishes right now!

Tilapia is a flavourful, cheap type of fish and is the 3rd most consumed fish in America. It tastes good fried or steamed, and is easy to eat. Many people eat fish, thinking it is healthier to consume compared to meat. But this latest news regarding where Tilapia comes from lately is disturbing—and we should stop consuming them! Today, it is almost impossible to come across wild Tilapia, and most of those in the market today are farm-bred in China. Farm-bred Tilapia are fed feeds instead of natural food. Seafood Watch cautions that the fish currently tests in the “red zone” for the presence of banned or illegal chemicals such as antibiotics, malachite green and methyl testosterone hormones used in Chinese tilapia production. So why would farm raised fish be toxic to our health? What are the exact dangers of eating farm-raised fish? Beth B Regino I think Philippines tiyapya is very defferent for china tilapya..so why we stop eating tilapya in the Philippines.
